First Steps: The ZeyOS User Interface

ZeyOS is a modular ERP platform that combines communication, CRM, invoicing, project management, and many other business functions in a single workspace. Despite its extensive feature set, ZeyOS has been designed with a consistent and intuitive user interface. Once you understand the core principles described in this guide, you will be able to work efficiently across all modules.

The Main Screen

After logging in, you will see the Mindlog dashboard — the central activity feed of ZeyOS. From here, you have access to every part of the platform. The screen is organized into the following areas:

  1. The Top Menu — Located at the very top, it contains the Mindlog button, the New/Recent/Apps menus, the shortcut bar, the search field, and your user menu. See The Top Menu for details.
  2. The Shortcut Bar — A customizable row of app icons below the top menu for quick access to your most-used apps.
  3. The Content Area — The main area where the Mindlog feed, app views, or detail views are displayed.
  4. The Sidebar — Depending on the context, a left or right sidebar provides additional navigation, filters, or related information.

ZeyOS provides several ways to navigate between apps and data:

  • The Apps Menu — Click Apps in the top menu to see a list of all available applications. Apps are the building blocks of ZeyOS — each app corresponds to a specific business function such as Contacts, Transactions, Projects, or Email.
  • The Shortcut Bar — Drag your favorite apps from the Apps menu onto the shortcut bar for one-click access. Double-click the shortcut bar to rearrange or remove shortcuts.
  • The New Menu — Click New (or press F2) to quickly create a new element, such as an email, appointment, or contact.
  • The Recent Menu — Click Recent to see elements you have recently opened, making it easy to switch between items you are working on.
  • The Search Field — Use the global search in the top-right corner to find any element across all modules by name or reference number.

Working with Apps

Each app in ZeyOS follows a consistent pattern:

  1. The Overview (Filter View) — When you open an app, you see a list of all elements. You can switch between Table and Cards view using the toggle buttons in the top right. You can also filter, sort, and customize this view. See Viewing and Filtering Data for a detailed guide.
  2. The Detail View — Click on any element to open its detail view. Here you can view and edit all fields, manage tags, see associated objects, and add records.
  3. The Sidebar — In the detail view, the right sidebar shows associations, events, records, and other related information.
